ITALY : Udinese general manager Pietro Leonardi is confident that Alexis Sanchez will remain at the club for the foreseeable future.
Sachez was brought to the club this summer from River Plate as a promising youngster. The Chilean looks to be fulfilling his potential very early as he has put in some fine performances for Udinese already this season, his most notable in the UEFA Cup against Borussia Dortmund.
Leonardi looks to clear up the youngster's future and left no room for any misunderstandings: "I don't want to sell him."
The Udinese GM has identified Sanchez as a possible future star at the Stadio Fruili. "He is still young," he told Studio Sport. "It is right that he plays for Udinese so he can be ready in the future.
"We have never said he will not be a part of our first team later on."
Sanchez could be the heir apparent to Antonio Di Natale at Udinese.
