FM 2012 Demo was out…

… but I decided i will not play it until i get the full version. I still got a lot of things to do and i think that the demo would only dissapoint me, because i want to play more than 6 months. So, 6 days to go until the full version is out and these days i’m gonna buy a copy of my own.

Let’s see how it works :)

FM 2012 for sale since 21st of October!

fm 2012

Well, SI informed everyone the official date for FM 2012: 21st of October 2011. It’s great news actually, we expected to see the game somewhere near Christmas, but to find that in just one month we can have the game is excellent.

Of course, for a taste of it, we should have a demo in about 2 weeks. It will be interesting to see some of the modifications, but i am sure that all the people expect the full game and it’s new features.

Until then, we still rely on FM 2011 transfer updates to play a little. But the time is coming….. for FM 2012!

FM 2012 on the move!

Well, we’ve got some info about the new FM 2012, a game that will come out before Christmas 2011 (from some information they say they will take it out on 4th of November 2011). In this new game in the series are around 800 new improvements to the match engine, but also to the transfer & contracts, scouting (i always wanted a better scouting system, we just have to wait for the demo to see what’s up) a new tutorial and other stuffs.

But the 2 most important changes are quite big: first, you can manage any nation and club around the world (FM World), meaning that even if you didn’t select that nation first at the start of the game, you can take a team from there and the league is automaticaly activated (as far as i’ve understand).

Second one is the tone, meaning the type of personality you can create on press conferences. It’s quite experimental, so i’m curious to see what’s on about.

And of course, the official thing about FM 2012

Key new & improved features for Football Manager 2012:

Transfers & Contracts – significant changes to the transfer and contract systems, including loyalty bonuses, better implementation of amateur and youth contracts, an improved transfer centre and the ability to lock areas of the contract negotiation when you aren’t prepared to budge. This helps you to manage your budgets and gives you flexibility in what you offer money hungry players, or agents, as incentives.

Scouting improvements – using several real life scouting reports, a new in-game report has been devised which includes squad analysis, tactics information and information about goals scored and conceded alongside lots of other scouting improvements, giving you all the information you need to prepare before kick-off and throughout the season.

3D Match Improvements – new animations, a whole new crowd system, improved weather system, more stadiums, plus two brand new cameras – “Behind Goal” and “Director Cam” as well as all other camera angles being reversible – meaning you can watch and analyse every aspect of every game.

Manage Anywhere, Anytime – the ability to add or take away playable nations in your saved game as often as you want. Manage in that country at the start of the next season- meaning you don’t have to stay in the nations which are chosen by you to be playable at the start of your career.

Tone – a whole new level has been added to team talks and conversations, with the new tone system, which allows you to specify the way you want to say things – be as cool as a cucumber by saying things calmly or throw tea cups around by saying things with passion. There are 6 different tones to choose from with specific comments per tone.

Intelligent Interface – a new adaptive layout system, which means the higher your screen resolution, the more info is easily at your fingertips. The new interface also contains new filters, customisable columns, a new tactics screen, and lots of new overview screens.

Brand New Tutorial – standing separate from the main game, a mode to help new players find their way around the game easily, whilst also offering tips to experienced managers on how to get the most out of the game, as well as a new in-game “how to” system.

On top of these key innovations, there are lots of areas of the game that have had huge improvements, such as the media system, press conferences, the youth system, newgens, the social networking options, friendlies, international management and many more which will be detailed in a series of video blogs over the coming months, alongside more information about Football Manager 2012.

4 seasons in a row!

Well, i’ve done it. I’ve won the Czech First Division Title four times in a row. Also, i’ve won the Czech Cup four times in a row. Basicly I’ve every trophy in Czech Republic in the last 4 years.

In Czech Republic the situation is very good, but elswere were problems. A lot of problems. I’ve qualified with Australia at World Cup and i was in a group with Spain, Peru and Switzerland.

The first match was a huge tactical succes, i’ve won 2-0 win Spain after Spain dominated the game. But i’ve scored.

I’ve had hopes that i could qualify on second round, but they would be ruined by 2 bad games: 0-2 with Peru and 0-2 with Switzerland, after a hugely bad games. I was out. Even after i was out, the Aussie Federation was quite satisfied, particulary over the win, 2-0, with Spain.

But I want to leave from Australia and take another nation to succes. Let’s see if I got any chance after the World Cup Ends.

4 years on Ostrava

After 4 years on Ostrava, my performances keep to amaze me. Except one team (Viktoria Zizkov, team that took 4 points away from me), i’ve beat every single team in the championship this season.

In UEFA Champions League i had a better season, although i finished fourth in my group, with 6 points. I drawed with all those three teams (1-1 with PSV, 1-1 with Manchester United, both at home and 1-1 with Zenit St. Petersburg at St. Petersburg), i’ve won one match (an excellent match at Einhovend, 3-1 victory) and two defeats in first two matches (2-3 with Zenit, in a match in which I should have won and 0-4 away on Manchester United, no comment about that).

Now, after 21 matches in Czech First Division, i have 19 wins, one draw and one defeat (both with Viktoria Zizkov, as i’ve said). I’ve won in both matches against Sparta Praga without to many problems (1-0 and 3-2, but in both matches i’ve had more that 10 shots on target). Anyway, i’ve spoken about Sparta Praga because this is the only team that can keep up with me. (5 points behind, 2 draws and 2 defeats, both with me).

Now i have the 22nd match this season in Czech First Division, with Opava. I guess it will be an easy match.

Banik Ostrava – season 3 – December

After two and a half seasons Banik Ostrava rules everything in Czech Republic. I cruise through the Czech Cup and the Czech Republic First Division.

In Czech Cup i am in the quarter finals, after easily beating every team. In Czech First Division i have 12 wins and 4 draws, first place, with 40 points, 8 more then the next team, Teplice.

Unfortunately, everything was shadowed by my performance in Uefa Champions League Groups, where i managed to loose 4 out of 5 games so far, i managed a draw with Twente at home, but after that i’ve lost all my matches. At nill.

1-1 with Twente at Ostrava, 0-3 with Olympique Lyon at Lyon, 0-2 with Manchester United in Manchester, 0-2 with Manchester United on Ostrava (on both matches i’ve received the goals in the last 15 minutes. In the second match i was far better that Manchester, but i was unlucky) and finally 0-2 with Twente at Enschede. The last match will be with Olympique Lyon, at Ostrava. I don’t have any chance to go through, anyway.

I managed to get Australia national team also. There, after two embarasing defeats (0-1 with Iraq and 1-2 with Kuwait) i finally managed to find a tactic to suit my team. The next match at home with Saudi Arabia was a succes: 5-2 (4 goals by Scott McDonald) and after that a draw with Chile, 3-3 (after i’ve been in the lead, 2-0). But situation looks good from now on and I have hopes that I will qualify with Australia on World Cup for the third consecutive time. And this time is in Brazil…

Peru experience – 3

Copa America…. Peru national team didn’t won it since 1975 and with this squad i have a lot of doubts that it can even get to quarter finals, my and my federation objective. We shall see. The competition is hosted by Argentina and the last winner was Brazil, i should correct that from the last post.

21th of June 2011 – I have to decide about my 23 player squad and it’s going to be a little bit hard, since i have some good players injured at this time. Still, after some carefull consideration, i’ve chosed my 23 players for Copa America.

Goalkeepers – George Forsyth, Erick Delgado, Raul Fernandes

Defenders – Alberto Rodriguez, Pedro Aparicio, Wenceslao Fernandez, Santiago Acasieste, Carlos Zambrano, Giancarlo Carmona, Roberto Guizasola, Mario Gomez

Midfielders – Marcio Valverde, Juan Manuel Vargas, Paolo de la Haza, Rinaldo, Robi Merino, Luis Ramirez, Jefferson Farfan, Juan Cominges

Forwards – Jose Paulo Guerrero, Johan Fano, Willmer Aguire, Claudio Pizzaro.

Unfortunately, 2 days after the squad was made, Wenceslao Fernandes, an important reserve player (can paly both left and right in defense) injuried for a long time and i can’t call up another player.

Just four days until the opening match and in Brazil is absolute madness. Brazil and Argentina are the main favourites, with other teams like Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile can have something to say about. Me, with Peru, i only want to beat one team so I can qualify in the quarter finals. And the easiest team to beat in Ecuador, which i’m playing in four days.

The Match day with Ecuador, the squad is selected

Erick Delgado – Mario Gomez, Pedro Aparicio, Santiago Acasieste, Roberto Guizasola – Rinaldo, Paolo de la Haza – Jefferson Farfan, Juan Cominges, Juan Manuel Vargas – Claudio Pizzaro

In the first match in Copa America, Argentina beat Columbia with 1-0.

And just 14 minutes into the game, Pedro Aparicio in sent off. Fuck….

Cominges is out, Alberto Rodriguez is in. It’s going to be tough to beat Ecuador now.

26th minute – 1-0 for Ecuador. Mario Gomez deflect a shot by Ayovi and the ball goes in the net.

42nd minute – Antonio Valencia scored. With his crushing speed he pass Mario Gomez and he was all alone with Erick Delgado…and he scored.

Two more changes – Guerrero for Pizzaro and Luis Ramires for Mario Gomez. Changed the tactic to a 4-3-2

53rd minute – Guerrero manage to score from an impossible angle and get one back for Peru. I hope it is not just the consolation goal.

64th minute – Paolo de la Haza hits the bar. 40 seconds later Farfan get a ball in the back of Ecuador defense and scores. 2-2.

81st minute – Farfan manages an 60 meters race and nearly get it in the net…. nearly…

Final whistle. And excellent game, but just a draw. I made an excellent second half, but the first half and the sent off of Aparicio managed to kill the game.

The next match, three days later with Argentina. That’s a no match… i will have to take a defence position with Argentina.

Until then there are matches in group B and group C.

In group B Bolivia – Japan 3-2 and Paraguay – Brazil 1-5 (crushing…)

In group C Mexic – Chile 0-0 and Uruguay – Venezuela 2-0

The next match with Argentina was quite a nasty one, so i had to make some defensife modifications for this match.

But until this match, i hoped for a draw between Columbia and Ecuador so i could have some chances for the second round…. and they didn’t draw. Columbia beat Ecuador, 1-0, and they are the main favourites for qualification. I have to beat them in the final match.

Now, back to Argentina.

I choosed a 4-1-3-2 and…. it failed. Badly. Argentina control the match.

10th minute – Gonzalo Higuain scores with a shot from 15 meters.

After a first half in which i didn’t even managed to shot on net, i’ve changed tactics. 4-2-2-2 with 2 wingers, Cominges and Farfan and 2 strikers, Guerrero and Willmer Aguire.

Willmer Aguire was on for Luis Ramires, which was injuried.

68th minute, Robi Merino is on for Rinaldo, which have some physical problems.

75th minute – Willmer Aguire hits the bar after an excellent pass from Jefferson Farfan.

80th minute – Claudio Pizzaro for Paolo de la Haza, who also have physical problems. Quite bad physical problems….

91th minute – Pizzaro misses the net and the match is over. Argentina win with 1-0.

Final whistle. Peru – Argentina 0-1.

The next match will be “the match”. I have to beat Columbia to get forward in the competition.

More problems stil ahead. Luis Ramires in injuried and can’t play in the competition. More players are extremelly tired.

Until then, the other groups

In group B Japan – Paraguay 0-2 and Brazil – Bolivia 0-0 (quite a surprise)

In group C Chile – Uruguay 1-3 and Venezuela – Mexico 1-1

For now, Argentina and Uruguay are qualified in quarter finals.

The match with Columbia. I’ve played quite an offensive game, so the normal 4-2-3-1.

27th minute – Columbia crush my team, no goal so far, but this is not healthy… at all.

37th minute – Moreno scores for Columbia

Half time – two changes – Aparicio for Alberto Rodriguez and Cominges for Mario Gomez.

I’ve lost that match and i’m out of Copa America and probably out of Peru. Fucking match with Colombia….and Ecuador (motherfucking referee).

In group B Japan – Brazil 4-1 (WTF) and Bolivia – Paraguay 0-1

In group C Uruguay – Mexico 2-2 and Venezuela – Chile 1-3

Meaning that in the Quarter finals are qualified:

From Group A : Argentina, Columbia

From Group B : Brazil, Bolivia and Paraguay

From Group C : Uruguay, Mexico and Chile

The Quarter Finals:

Uruguay – Bolivia 3-1

Brazil – Chile 3-0

Argentina – Mexico 6-0 (ouch)

Paraguay – Columbia 0-1 (so I’m as good as Paraguay)

The Semi Finals:

Uruguay – Argentina 2-2 (2-4 on penalties)

Columbia – Brazil 1-4

The Third Place Final

Columbia – Uruguay 4-1

The FINAL

Brazil – Argentina 2-0

I’ve attended the final, so i could see the best match in the World.

Pato scored a magnificent goal in the first minute

Gonzalo Rodriguez get a yellow card and a penalty is awarded. Thiago Silva misses the penalty!

45th minute (second half) – Pato scores again. That player is quite incredible!

Brazil won the Copa America. 2-0 in the final with Argentina.

Brazil will host Copa America in 2015.

As if for me, The Peru football federation is dissapointed about the result of Peru on Copa America and more than that Claudio Pizzaro resigned as Peru capitan.

The new capitan will be Alberto Rodriguez, the Braga defender.

We shall see if the federation stil wants me for the World Cup Qualification, where I hope that i produce a better performance than in Copa America.

Peru experience – 2

As i’ve said in the first part, i’ve started with Peru, i’ve played 2 matches so far, a win with U.A.E and a draw with St. Kitts and Nevis, some weak adversaries. But now it’s time to play with better national teams….sort of.

As i was in holiday for about 3 months, the Peru federation programes me a match with…. British Virgin Island, just 4 days before an important friendly match against Cameroon.

I’ve started the match with British Virgin Island with the usual squad:

Forsyth – Guizasola, Aparicio, Acasieste, Mario Gomez – Donny Neria (first cap), Rinaldo – Farfan, Cominges, Vargas – Willmer Aguire.

Being a match with British Virgin Island, i would change the team on half time.

After a good first half with no more than 15 big chances, i have 3-0, 2 goals by Jefferson Farfan and one by Rinaldo (and excellent chip over the goalkeeper).

After the first half, i’ve changed half of my team (Pizzaro, Guerrero, Rengifo, Robi Merino and Balbin were in ). I didn’t expect more performance with that many chances and a new tactic (I normally play a 4-2-3-1, now i went on a 3-2-2-3 ultraoffensive style), but Rengifo still managed to put a goal in the 64th minute. And that was it. 4-0 victory against British Virgin Islands. Away.

Four days later it was an important match for me, first match with a real powerfull team, and i wanted a good performance from my team, so the morale could be high for the first match in Copa America with Ecuador.

8th of June 2011, Estadio Nacional in Lima. Peru faces Cameroon in a quite normal atmosphere, 16 degree celsius and 31877 people came to see the match.

The first eleven was altmost the same, just one modification, Guererro is the striker, replacing Willmer Aguire. It’s going to be difficult….

And as i’ve said, Chedjou demostrated. 1-0 for Cameroon. In the first minute.

Two good scoring opportunities, but Guerrero and Farfan missed the target.

0-1 at half time. I’ve made two modification, Luis Ramires came on for Rinaldo (bad physical condition) and Willmer Aguire for Jose Paulo Guerrero.

Excellent scoring opportunity for Vargas, but Kameni managed to touch it in the last moment.

1-1. An amazing powerful shot by central defender Aparicio from 25 meters and it’s 1-1.

1-2. – 77th minute – Samuel Kameni hit the upright and the ball went into the net.

1-2, final score. It wasn’t a bad performance, but Cameroon was better today. We need to do better in competitive matches, like Copa America, as an example.

Just one month the Copa America will start. We shall see then.

Peru experience – 1

It’s bine a long time since i didn’t play a match in FM 2011, and that was because all the problems start in the spring. But now, whit some sun outside and somehow clear of problems, i spend some time in FM 2011, just playing around with some teams.

I’ve started a long time ago with Peru national team and i’ve played just one match, a friendly match with St. Kitts and Nevis, ended as a draw. Then i was pissed and i just saved and get out.

This time however i’ve met the U.A.E (United Arab Emirates) team, which wasn’t, on the first view, such a simple adversary. But i’ve crushed them, 5-1. Two goals by Vargas, two by Willmer Aguire and one from Claudio Pizzaro (which missed a lot of good chances).

Well, it’s going to be a while (3 months) until the friendly match with Cameroon and most importantly, Copa America, where i’m in a group with Argentina, Columbia and Ecuador, so i still have a chance to catch the third place and qualify for Quarter Final, my objective.

But until then, as i’ve said, let’s talk a little bit about Peru National Team.

First, the Peru Flag

When you talk about Peru, you talk about Inca Empire. That’s about the only thing that the people outside America know about Peru. But that’s history.

Let’s talk more about Peru national football team performances. First of all, World Cup. Peru participated on four editions: 1930, 1970, 1978 and 1982.

In 1930 they played two matches: with Uruguay, which they’ve lost, 1-0, and with Romania, and they lost again, 3-1. Not a very good performance.

In 1970 they played in Group 4 with Bulgaria (3-2 win), Morocco (3-0 win) and Germany (1-3 loss). In the quarter finals they’ve lost agains the future World Cup winners, Brazil (2-4).

A short story that i saw on wikipedia about the match agains Bulgaria.

Peru had faced one of their worst earthquakes in history while the team was in Mexico. Several people died, and one whole city was wiped from the face of the earth. Due to this, the team was quite saddened and showed a deplorable first-half against Bulgaria (Losing 2 to nothing). The tale goes on to say that someone uttered: “With this game they’re killing those who survived the earthquake back in Peru.” True or false, Peru was capable to turn the game back around and beat Bulgaria

In 1978 in the groups the beat Scotland and Iran and drawed with Netherland. In the playoff groups, or the second group stage, they’ve lost quite badly agains Brazil, Poland and Argentina, a match that even today it is considered to be frauded.

In 1982 they didn’ have a good performance, drawing with Cameroon and Italy and loosing 5-1 to Poland, in that way being eliminated from the World Cup.

At the Olympic Games, they’ve played just in 1936 on Berlin and 1960 at Roma.

In 1936 at Berlin they won both in first round and in quarter finals, but the match with Austria was a real controversy, as you can read on wikipedia.

In 1960 they’ve played with France (1-2 loss), Hungary (2-6 loss) and India (3-1 win) and they didn’t qualify for the second round.

At Copa America, Peru have better performances. They’ve won two Copa America competitions (1939 and 1975), and places third in four editions (1927. 1935, 1949 and 1955). In the latest editions (1999, 2001, 2004 and 2007) they’ve reached on quarterfinals.

That’s all about to know about Peru football national team for now. I’ll be back with more informations about Peru national team.
